hi sorry it took awhile to get back to you. yes my husband Al and myself are retired and have a home with a fenced yard. We recently let our rat terrier cross the bridge after 16 years with us. We have been researching breeds and think a basenji would be a good companion for us. Loki is just adorable. We are in Omaha and hope the drive isn’t too far. Thanks, Sue Cwirko
